Resolved 2016: The Commitments of First Baptist Church
Join us for Special Meetings with Pastor/Missionary Scott Williquette, Sunday-Wednesday, April 24-27.
As Paul writes in 2 Timothy 1:12, “I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.”
Our commitments define who we are. Resolved 2016 is a special conference to examine the Commitments of First Baptist Church. Our Purpose Statement sets our direction:
The purpose of this church shall be to accomplish the will of the Lord Jesus Christ through the uniting of Christians in fellowship faithful to the Word of God, through preaching of the whole counsel of God, for the establishment of New Testament churches both at home and abroad, and for the observance of the Ordinances.
Have you ever wondered why churches meet on Sundays? Or what God calls every person in church to do? We have invited Pastor/Missionary Scott Williquete to help center our hearts and lives on God's call to the church. Scott travels around the world to train National Pastors through the Pastoral Enrichment Program of Baptist Mid-Missions and will give us a tour of his recent trips to Myanmar. Learn a little more about FBC-Morris this week and find your place in God's plan.
